Our local businesses are ready to serve, greeting you with a smile behind their face coverings. Restauranteurs and business owners have worked tirelessly to change processes and physical spaces to operate safely.
As we begin recreating responsibly, plan an hour (or day) to get out of the house and enjoy our resilient culinary scene. Here are a few examples of local businesses ready to help you escape the stress of quarantine:
Three Magnets Brewing
In a hurry? Order a Mojo salmon bowl or Nashville Hot Chicken with “Blue Curb Pickup” service. Or, stay a while in the new outdoor Alleyway Seating. Both are 100% contact-free.
Three Magnets is also experimenting with Garden Movement. These ready-to-cook meals include the ingredients and instructions for you to make at home. A different Garden Movement meal is available for pickup or delivery every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Scatter Creek Winery & Brewing
Looking for a new craft project? Enjoy painting or quilting with Scatter Creek Winery and Brewery. Kits with supplies, directions—and wine, of course—are available for pickup and delivery from Scatter Creek in Tenino. Kits range from $50 to $110.
Scatter Creek’s tasting room is now open with limited seating Thursday to Sunday. Make reservations, or just drop in; check the website for hours and details. Wine and beer remain available through curbside pickup and delivery.
Dillinger’s Cocktails & Kitchen
In downtown Olympia, Dillinger’s is a favorite spot for drinks and snacks. They’re now open for limited indoor service, Tuesdays through Saturdays. Cocktail kits and food are still available for takeout—consider Manhattans, sangria, Jell-o shots or rum-based drinks for your at-home enjoyment.
Visit Dillinger’s on Facebook for updated hours and menus.
Sofie’s Scoops Gelateria
The sweet flavors change daily at Sofie’s, now open for walk-in service. The Olympia shop’s temporary hours are 2-8 p.m., Tuesdays to Sundays. (Please mask up while waiting in line!)
You can still order Sofie’s made-from-scratch treats online and pick up at curbside or walk-in during store hours.
