The City of Tenino announced a day of community festivities on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Residents and visitors alike are invited to celebrate Tenino Family Fun Day, the America 250 Celebration, and the official 2026 season opening of the historic Tenino Quarry Pool.
The main festival runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is completely free to attend.
Families can look forward to a vibrant lineup of entertainment, including live music from America’s 1st Corps Big Band Jazz ensemble and performer Bill Lenker. Activities spanning the park include pony rides, bounce houses, live reptiles, model train exhibits, carnival games, a dunk tank, local non-profit and food vendors, and rich historical displays.

• 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Pony Rides
• 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Tenino Depot Museum Exhibits and Wooden Money
• 11:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Opening Ceremony (Museum Flag Pavilion)
• 12:00 PM: America’s First Corps Big Band Performance (Museum Flag Pavilion)
• 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Quarry Pool Open (Children 18 and under are FREE with a paid adult)
• 1:30 PM: Park Processional Parade (Line-up details below)
• 2:00 PM: Bill Lenker Performance (Quarry House Stage)
