EVOLVE brings two theatrical works together in one intimate concert of story, rhythm, and transformation. In La Création du Monde, The Creation of the World, Darius Milhaud turns a creation myth into a jazz-infused ballet, shaped by the sound world he encountered in Harlem. In L'Histoire du soldat, The Soldier’s Tale, Igor Stravinsky tells a sharp, unforgettable story of a soldier who trades his violin, his heart and soul, to the Devil for unlimited wealth.

With Aaron Lamb, Producing Artistic Director of Harlequin Productions, joining as narrator, EVOLVE becomes a concert where music speaks, stories move, and every choice carries a cost.
