Some dreams are wild. Some are luminous. Some sound like home.

DREAM closes Olympia Symphony’s 2026/27 season, Kaleidoscope, with music that celebrates the Americas as a meeting place of cultures, memory, longing, and possibility. Jimmy López’s América Salvaje opens with a vivid symphonic vision inspired by Peruvian poet José Santos Chocano and the kaleidoscope of cultures that shape the Americas. Olympia Symphony’s own Principal Flute Mary Jensen steps into the spotlight for Kevin Puts’ radiant Flute Concerto. Then Dvořák’s beloved Symphony No. 9, “From the New World,” brings the season to a sweeping close with longing, discovery, and one of the most unforgettable melodies in orchestral music
