Whether you're an experienced writer or just beginning to explore creative writing, this 2-hour monthly workshop offers a welcoming, supportive space to develop your craft. Each session focuses on a different genre or technique while providing time to write, share your work, and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback.
Workshops include a brief discussion of the featured writing form, readings of published examples, guided writing time, and small group sharing. Participants are encouraged (but never required) to read their work aloud. Feedback emphasizes encouragement, curiosity, and suggestions for growth in a respectful, positive environment.
No previous writing experience is necessary. Bring a notebook or laptop and a willingness to experiment with new ideas. Writers of all skill levels are welcome.
This month's focus: Sudden Fiction—very short stories that capture a single moment, idea, or truth without requiring a traditional ending.
