Dzogchen meditation master Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will visit Olympia on June 19–20 for a public talk on The Tibetan Book of Success: A Guide to Relationships, Leadership, Communication, and Happiness and a daylong meditation retreat at The Abigail Stuart House.
On Friday, June 19, Rinpoche will present “Ancient Tibetan Wisdom for Bringing True Happiness and Success Into Every Area of Your Life,” an evening talk based on The Tibetan Book of Success, a newly released collection of classical Tibetan literature offering practical guidance for cultivating happiness, strong relationships, effective communication, authentic leadership, and fulfillment in every area of life.
Drawn from a long tradition of secular Tibetan teachings on how to live a good life, The Tibetan Book of Success presents four newly translated texts from renowned Tibetan masters, offering clear and succinct guidance for creating happiness, harmonious relationships, ethical leadership, and strong communities. The collection includes an 8th-century text discovered in the Dunhuang caves alongside writings from Sakya Pandita, Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche, and Patrul Rinpoche.
During the evening, Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will share practical and profound teachings from the book and explore how these enduring principles can help bring greater happiness, stronger relationships, effective communication, authentic leadership, and fulfillment in every area of life. The program will also include guided meditation and an introduction to the deeper path of Pristine Mind meditation.
On Saturday, June 20, Rinpoche will lead “Discovering Unconditional Happiness through Pristine Mind Meditation: A Workshop Based on the Dzogchen Teachings on the Nature of Mind.” Through meditation instruction and guided practice, participants will learn practical methods for accessing greater clarity, awareness, inner peace, and unconditional happiness by recognizing the mind’s natural state.
