Taste the History, Legacy and Future of Craft Brewing
Breweries, Tap Rooms, & Distilleries
Well-known for our breweries and taprooms, we’re also just a bit famous as the hometown of the Olympia Brewing Company.
Enjoy a regional beer at many of our downtown Olympia restaurants or take your love of handcrafted beverages on a trip through the many locations along the Thurston County Bountiful Byway.
There's a reason so many brewers call Olympia home. From the bountiful fertile land, perfect for growing hops, to the artesian water supply, Olympia became a hub for brewers to experiment, creating flavorful beers for all to imbibe.
Imagine a pour that shines brilliantly clear, with the smell of aromatic grains and a slightly sweet yet tangy taste, capped off by a foamy bone white head. That’s what you’ll find in brewpubs, taprooms and the finest Washington breweries across the city. Handcrafted beers are plentiful so your perfect Olympia beer is out here waiting for you.
