Oly on Ice
Bundle up in your favorite sweater, put on a cozy hat, tie on your skates, and celebrate the season at the annual Oly on Ice, a pop-up ice skating rink in Olympia.
As the days grow colder and holiday season begins residents and visitors of Olympia will see a large white tent pop up in Isthmus Park. Enter the tent and prepare to have a blast as you join the group of ice skaters making their way around the rink. The annual Oly on Ice event brings together people of all ages and skill levels for a memorable winter experience.

Special Events
Oly on Ice hosts many special events throughout the season. Several local organizations will host family-friendly activities on select nights including the Olympia Timberland Library, live choir performances by The Slaybells and the Rose Garden Performers, and Cocoa with a Cop. Visitors will also enjoy skating to live performances from a variety of different artists on select dates.
Sensory Skate
On select dates, the first hour of Sunday morning skate (10 a.m. - 11 a.m.) and Monday afternoons (3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.) is reserved for sensory-friendly skating. Skating rink staff strive to foster a calm and quiet environment during this time. The lights will be turned low and no music will be playing throughout the hour.

Parking
Free public parking is available during all operating hours in the lot to the immediate east of the ice rink (between the rink and Views on 5th). Free and paid street parking can be found along Capitol Lake and downtown. During evening and weekend hours, additional free parking is available in the lot to the west of the rink and at all City of Olympia managed lots and metered spots. There are also non-city managed pay-to-park lots neighboring the rink.
There is no ice rink parking at Bayview Thriftway or other private lots adjacent to the rink. Please observe all posted signage regarding parking at both city-owned and private lots.
