Official Prize Rules and Information

Thanks for participating in our 2023 South Sound Block Party Giveaway. Please take special note of the official rules below, then fill out the form below to sign-up for our newsletter which will enter you into the contest.


1. ELIGIBILITY
Sweepstakes participants must be at least 18 years old. Employees and stakeholders of Experience Olympia and Beyond (Olympia Lacey Tumwater Visitor and Convention Bureau) and the immediate family or members of their same households of such employees and stakeholders are not eligible.

2. SWEEPSTAKES DEADLINE
Sweepstakes period ends on 8/20/2023 at midnight, PT. At the end of this period, there will be a prize drawing.

3. ENTRY
ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON IS PERMITTED. To enter you must electronically complete the required portions of the form by the sweepstakes deadline. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late or incomplete survey entries; or for any computer, telephone, cable, network, satellite, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability or garbled or jumbled transmissions, or service provider/Internet/web site/use net accessibility or availability.

4. DRAWING
The winner of the drawing will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received by the sweepstakes deadline. The drawing will take place on 8/21/2023 and sweepstakes winners will be notified that day via email/phone. Sweepstakes winners must claim their prizes within 24 hours of being notified and must pick up their prize at the EOB office no later than 5pm PT on Thursday 8/24/2023.

5. PRIZE/ODDS
Below is the list of prizes (11 drawings in total).
• Grand prize*: 2 VIP wristbands, 2 VIP parking pass and 2 VIP drink tickets valid for entry to the South Sound Block Party both Friday, 8/25/23 and Saturday, 8/26/23. (Valued at $250 USD). Must be 21+ years to win grand prize.
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Friday, 8/25/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Friday, 8/25/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Friday, 8/25/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Friday, 8/25/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Friday, 8/25/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Saturday, 8/26/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Saturday, 8/26/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Saturday, 8/26/23 (Valued at $80 USD)
• 2 general admission wristbands valid for entry on Saturday, 8/26/23 (Valued at $80 USD)

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. No assignment, transfer or substitution of prize is permitted. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

Total Promotional Value: $1,050 USD.

6. WINNERS LIST
For a list of the prize winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt to EOB 2023 South Sound Block Party c/o Experience Olympia & Beyond, P.O. Box 1394, Olympia, WA 98507.
