The Hearts & Soles Family Fun Run and 5k is an annual Olympia-area community event and fundraiser to support local causes and charities. This year, all donations will go to support Interfaith Works' Homeless Services, a nonprofit coalition serving Thurston County. Their Homeless Services deliver emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, coordinated basic‑needs support, and mental health navigation with a strong foundation in social justice and dignity for clients. The program includes Sergio’s, a daytime center offering showers, hygiene services, health and mental health referrals, and pop-up overflow shelter in hazardous weather—embodying an inclusive, low‑barrier approach to serving our most vulnerable neighbors.
Events Include:
-5k Run, Walk, or Stroll
--Runners will be numbered and timed.
--Not everyone’s built for speed—and that’s okay! Walk, shuffle, or casually saunter through the course. Ideal for families, strollers, and those allergic to running.
-100m Kids Dash
--Sprint races for kids 3 to 10 years old.
Light refreshments will be provided.
