In this interactive workshop, we will explore three big topics:
Values embedded in U.S. founding documents (Declaration of Independence, The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights); the “separation of powers” between the three branches of government; and constitutional provisions around citizenship and voting rights.
Every participant will receive a “pocket Constitution” and have multiple opportunities to discuss their relationship with the federal government.
