Overview

Meet your tour guide at the Olympia AHA Museum, then embark on a flat route through the locations of former Olympia Chinatowns and visit Olympia's Chinese Heritage Marker. Discover the stories of Chinese immigrants who helped shape our city.

Expect a 1-hour tour covering 0.6 miles on flat terrain, with some time after to explore our exhibit Remembering Exclusion, Honoring Community: Chinese Life in Olympia. There is restroom access at the museum and seating at one location on the tour route.

About your tour guide:

Ellie Keeley is a current student at The Evergreen State College studying environmental education. They are passionate about the Chinese community in Olympia.
