American Legion Band In Tanglewilde Park

Overview

The Department of Washington American Legion Band, sponsored by the Olympia-based Sacajawea Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will celebrate the 125th anniversary of John Phillip Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever” with a free, family friendly, Music in the Park event.

This 4th annual event is set to begin at 6 p.m. at the Tanglewilde Rec Park located at 414 Wildcat St. SE in Lacey. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the outdoor event. There is no charge to attend, but donations for the band will be welcome. Sweetlee’s Ice Cream Truck will be on site to sell ice cream to attendees.
