s'gʷi gʷi ʔ altxʷ House of Welcome Cultural Arts Campus

s'gʷi gʷi ʔ altxʷ House of Welcome serves as a public service center on the Evergreen State College campus to nurture the growth of Indigenous arts and cultures throughout the Northwest and the Pacific Rim.

The building is an active space with college students and guests embracing the opportunity to see the world through a Native lens. Since 1995 s'gʷi gʷi ʔ altxʷ has been a home to Tribes, culture keepers, and artists to support the transfer of customary practices into the next generation.

Schedule a tour or come and visit the Longhouse, the Fiber Arts studio, or the Carving studio.
