On Sunday, October 13th, Well 80 is hosting their third annual Olympia city scavenger hunt: The Hunt for Leopold's Gold!
CITY SCAVENGER HUNT? HOW DOES THIS WORK?
We’ve hidden intriguing things and challenges in and around downtown Olympia. Your mission: capture them all through photos to earn points.
COOL! WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO TAKE PART?
4 people to make up a team (choose your wisest and coolest friends)
Team uniform: Points for the most unique uniforms!
Team name: Something fun and appropriate.
Team captain versed in Instagram (we'll use Instagram to track points).
Wear comfortable shoes.
Arrive at Well 80 at 9 AM for your hunt packet, breakfast burrito, and coffee.
Reserve your spot and pay team fees.
Be ready for the starting bell at 10 AM.
Collect as many points as you can and be back at Well 80 by 2 PM for the awards ceremony.
WHY A BREAKFAST HOUR?
Because breakfast burritos are awesome.
You’ll have an hour to strategize with your team.
Scout the other teams and make side bets.
WHAT ARE THE BASIC RULES?
No driving or riding bikes/skateboards/rollerblades. Use feet or public transit (city buses are free!).
Photos must include all team members and the Leopold head.
Must be 21+ to participate.
CAN WE PRE-REGISTER AND IS SPACE LIMITED?
Yes and yes. Pre-registration is open, with space for teams of 4. The registration fee is $140. Every participant gets cool Leopold-branded materials.
WHAT CAN WE WIN?
First prize is Leopold’s Gold! Includes: a future beer named after the winning team, custom house beer glasses with team/individual names, team photo on the wall, and Well 80 gift cards.
Second & third: TBD, but they'll be cool too.
Prizes for best costumes, most miles on Strava, and more surprises!
