Wednesday, August 1st through Friday, August 4th from 10 AM to 10 PM
Sunday, August 5th from 10 AM to 8 PM
This is a FREE Flower Show with exhibits on gardening and design demonstrations. The Black Hills District of Garden Clubs is asking the community to help spread the word and encourage youth of all ages from preK to 18 (in Thurston and Lewis counties) to enter the 2018 Thurston County Fair Junior Flower Show.
A public showing of both the Junior and the Adult flower shows will occur August 1st through 5th at the Thurston County Fairgrounds expo center.
Entries are to be brought to the Fairgrounds Expo Hall on Tuesday, July 31st from 4-7 p.m.
“New this year! There will be a Junior mini-show within the adult show. Children can bring horticulture entries, a simple floral design, an educational exhibit, craft or photo,” Suzann Stahl, General Chairman of this year’s flower show, commented. “It’s very easy to enter; some pre-registration is required."
“The flower show committee and I are so excited to have this wonderful addition to the Thurston County Fair Flower Show this year. We hope parents and grandparents will help us promote this opportunity and then visit the show. “ Stahl stated. “The children will win ribbons and rosettes just like the grown-ups!”
