At the South Sound Story Guild we foster the art and tradition of oral storytelling. In this annual free story concert, we tell humorous folktales in the first half and more dramatic or spooky tales in the second half. Music and sing-alongs entertain at the intermission. The stories are for adults and children who can listen like adults. Children of elementary age and older will enjoy listening. Follow the hot pink signs in the park where the audience brings lawn chairs or blankets to sit on the hillside. Oral storytelling without using props, sets or costumes, tells the story with voice, gesture, and expression. For more information, please visit our website.
