Olympia downtown kicked off the holiday season in style on Sunday, December 1 with a visit from Santa, the Jingle Bell Parade and a visit from Santa!  This endearing community tradition is made possible through the support of downtown businesses, sponsors, membership dues and volunteers.  Enjoy Olympia at its seasonal best!

10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Oly on Ice is back and will be open all day!

1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy horsedrawn wagon rides and hot chocolate at Sylvester Park

1:00 WSECU Jingle Bell Parade—New Time, Same Route! The route begins at Capitol Lake and ends at Sylvester Park.  The best viewing is on the corner of 5th and Capital to hear commentary by parade emcee Mixx96.1 personality Ty Flint.

1:15 p.m. Alleluia! Handbell Ensemble at Batdorf & Bronson, 516 Capitol Way S, Olympia

1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Sylvester Park.  A photographer will provide photos for purchase by request, but not a pre-requisite to slip Santa your wish list.

3:45 p.m. Apple Tree Productions performance at Sylvester Park

4:00 p.m. Tree Lighting at Sylvester Park, with Live Music from Olympia High School Chamber Choir
