Come learn about local history and its connection to state and national events during a series of upcoming sack lunch lectures on Capitol Campus.  

Presented by historian and retired educator David Shipley, who is a volunteer with Visitor Services and chair of the Tumwater Historic Preservation Commission. Learn local facts while viewing a slideshow of hidden and overlooked historical sites and markers in eastern Thurston County. Directions will be given so that participants can take a driving tour of the sites after the presentation.
